    Situation

    Houston’s largest privately held real estate company manages more than 200 contiguous acres of land real estate. In business for more than 50 years, this three-billion dollar company has seen explosive growth. As the company expanded, it created the dire need for an efficient process to train the consistently growing staff.

    Analysis

    They needed a proficient, organized system to cover a wide range of training topics.

    Several divisions needed the basic fundamental training entailing the corporation’s culture, sales processes and other technical procedures. Departments needing training included HR, accounting, engineering, sales for the commercial real estate, retail real estate and conventional real estate departments.

    The diverse training materials to be covered included topics ranging from OSHA, computer technology training, customer service processes, wellness training including health classes like disease management, and personal health teachings focusing on living a balanced lifestyle for your kidneys and heart.

    The system needed to handle more than 550 employees accessing the system at any given time.

    Results

    From the first meeting to implementation, Solo Learning created a complete Learning Management System (LMS) in only 60 days. The custom LMS content was adapted to blend in the company’s overall image and branding. Logging into the system, the workforce enjoys the experience of working in an LMS designed specifically with their particular branding.

    Training hours have been reduced considerably, benefiting the organization’s budget significantly. No longer needing a large team to train their workforce, these valuable dollars can be spent elsewhere.
